Tim Southall was born in Staffordshire and grew up near the industrial heartlands of the Black Country. He studied Fine Art at Northumbria University and printmaking at the Royal College of Art and L’École des Beaux-Arts, Paris. After two decades in London teaching and working as a professional artist, he left academia to focus entirely on his art. For the past 17 years, he has lived and worked in Cádiz Province, southern Spain.
