Thelma Sykes is a printmaker whose linocuts and woodcuts reflect her love of birds and wild landscapes. Combining her background as a field naturalist with a passion for print, she creates expressive works that capture the rhythm and pattern of nature. Living near the Dee Estuary on the English–Welsh border, she often depicts wading birds and wildfowl. Her award-winning prints have been exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, including in China.
