Sybil Andrews

Sybil Andrews (1898–1992) was a British artist best known for her bold, dynamic linocuts that reimagined scenes of everyday life. Over a career spanning more than sixty years, she developed a distinctive modernist style rooted in the energy and movement of the 1930s. Influenced by Cubism, Futurism, and Vorticism, Andrews created rhythmic, streamlined compositions that captured the vitality of modern life with striking colour and design.
