Spencer Gore (1878–1914) was a British painter known for his landscapes, interiors, and scenes of everyday life. Born in Epsom, Surrey, he studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, where he befriended Harold Gilman. Influenced by Walter Sickert and French Post-Impressionism, Gore played a key role in shaping early modern British art. He was a founding member of the Allied Artists’ Association, the Camden Town Group, and later the London Group.
