Sarah Kirby discovered her love of printmaking during an Art Foundation course taught by Walter Hoyle, later earning a degree at Farnham and an MA at Nottingham Trent. Based in Leicester for over 30 years, she works from her home studio, using a 1838 Albion press, while remaining active in the city’s printmaking community. Her linocuts and prints draw inspiration from plants, architecture, and Leicester’s distinctive buildings, reflecting her deep connection to place.
