Robert Gilmor (1936–2022) was a founding member and former president of the Society of Wildlife Artists. He illustrated more than 100 books and, from 1985, designed the dust jackets for the Collins New Naturalist series. Inspired by the wildlife and landscapes of North Norfolk, his prints beautifully captured the character and behaviour of birds and mammals within this distinctive environment.
