Richard Eurich (1903–1992) was a British painter best known for his evocative marine paintings, landscapes and narrative scenes. Trained at Bradford School of Art and the Slade under Henry Tonks, he served as an official war artist during the Second World War. Elected a Royal Academician in 1957, his work combined meticulous observation with imagination, establishing him as one of Britain’s most distinctive twentieth-century painters.
