Paul Nash (1889–1946) was a British landscape painter, illustrator, writer, and designer known for his work in oils and watercolour. The elder brother of artist John Nash, he studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and later collaborated with Roger Fry at the Omega Workshops. Serving with the Artists’ Rifles during World War I, he was appointed an official war artist in both world wars. Nash also taught at Oxford and the Royal College of Art.
