Melvyn Evans
Melvyn Evans first trained as a marine engineer, working on submarines before studying illustration at Exeter College of Art and Design and later at Goldsmiths College, London. He went on to attend drawing classes at the Royal College of Art with Bryan Kneale RA and became a professional artist, printmaker, and illustrator in 1992. Known for his bold, graphic style, Evans draws inspiration from artists such as Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious, Henry Moore, and the St Ives School.
