Lynton Lamb

Lynton Lamb (1907–1977) was born in Nizamabad, India, and moved to England as a child, growing up in London and attending Kingswood School, Bath. After his father’s death, he left school to work in an estate agent’s office but studied life drawing in the evenings at Camberwell School of Art. From 1928 to 1930, he trained full-time at the Central School of Arts and Crafts under Noel Rooke and Bernard Meninsky.
