John Brunsdon (1933–2014) trained at the Royal College of Art and later became Head of Printmaking at St Albans College of Art. He was one of Britain’s most distinguished printmakers, with work held in major public collections including the Tate Gallery and the V&A. Fascinated by humanity’s mark on the landscape, he delighted in the texture of etched lines and the sweeping forms of colour that fused into timeless compositions.
