Jane Smith is a printmaker based in rural Argyll on Scotland’s west coast. Working from her field sketches of wildlife and landscapes, she creates handmade, limited-edition screen prints that reflect her deep connection to nature. Her prints are built up in layers of colour, capturing the movement and atmosphere of the Scottish mainland and Hebridean islands. Elected to the SWLA in 2015, her work continues to celebrate and promote wildlife conservation.
