James has been creating books for children for over 30 years, including the much-loved Katie series, Ella Bella Ballerina and Once Upon A Tune. Alongside his publishing work, he collaborates with musicians and orchestras on live performances combining storytelling, music and illustration. His recent work explores printmaking and collage, often inspired by traditional folk art and fairy tales.
