Henry Tuke

Henry Scott Tuke (1858–1929) was an English artist best known for his work in the Impressionist style. Trained at the Slade School of Art, he developed close ties with the Newlyn School of painters, and his work was regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts, where he became a full member. A noted maritime painter, he also produced many portraits of sailing ships.
