Based in North Cornwall, Helen Murgatroyd studied Graphic Design in Manchester before completing an MA in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art. Her editioned linocuts document the rural community she lives and works in. Her practice is rooted in observational drawing – working directly from her sketchbooks, she creates images that aim to capture the humility of the work and leisure activities she depicts.
