Harold Williamson

Harold Williamson (1892–1978) was born in Manchester and studied at the Manchester School of Art from 1913 to 1916, returning after World War I to complete his studies in 1922. He exhibited widely, including at the Royal Academy, NEAC, RWA, Manchester City Art Gallery, and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, as well as in the United States. From 1926 to 1962, he taught at the Manchester College of Art, becoming Head of Fine Art.
