Cyril E. Power (1872–1951) was a prominent figure at London’s Grosvenor School of Modern Art during the 1920s and 1930s, working under the influential tutor Claude Flight. The artists of the Grosvenor School played a key role in popularising the colour linocut, creating dynamic works that captured the energy of the modern age. Their contribution to British art between the wars is yet to be fully recognised.
