Sarah Lees is a painter whose landscapes explore the relationship between cultivated and wild places, revealing the traces left by human activity. Born in Coventry and now based in Carmarthenshire, she studied Wildlife Illustration and paints in oils on panel. Winner of the 2025 Ailsa Owen Memorial Prize, her work is exhibited by galleries across England, Scotland and Wales.
