Michael Coulter has lived and worked in Suffolk for more than 50 years, creating distinctive stylised watercolours inspired by the landscapes, coast and villages of East Anglia. Born in Shropshire in 1937, he studied printmaking, illustration and wood engraving before becoming a full-time artist. His work has been widely exhibited, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
